Just wondering what opinions are of Sovereign Gold (SOC). Exploring the old Rocky River/ Uralla NSW goldfields in the belief that the main lode in the area may still be present.

Just released some encouraging initial drilling results.

    Anyone looked into them?

The reason the creeks and rivers were dry in NSW for so long isn't because of the drought, but because of all the holes drilled in the countryside through there over the years. The place leaks like a sieve it's had so many exploration holes drilled in it. :D

I wouldn't hold my breath that these guys have found anything new.

Maybe not. I wouldn't know a good drilling result from a bad one so not sure how positive it is. Was hoping our resident PM stock expert might cast his eye over them.

While the area they are concentrating on would have been explored in the past it wouldn't be considered part of the main original goldfield.
