    Hi,

I have a King George the VI, 1952 South Africa, 11 coin, proof like pound set. It contains the following coins:

gold pound - same dimensions as a sov (light hairlines on one side)
    gold half pound
    crown
    half crown
    2 shillings
    shilling
    sixpence
    threepence

Similar to this one, except instead of Queen Elizabeth mine has King George.

What do you numi guys think of this type of set? And what do you think is a fair selling price? Haven't seen too many gold pounds or sets with King George for sale. Ofcourse you many know that South Africa became a republic and changed its currency from the pound to the rand in the early 60s.

Recently a gold half pound alone sold for around $750.

    Interested in your thoughts.
