    Going through a jewellery collection and found this on a ring that is supposed to be gold. Don't have a chance to get it tested right now so what do we think it means (or know)?

    Interesting. Thanks for the link! It's actually rather crudely joined so I had my concerns. So it's basically 1k gold :)

    10K is are American hallmarks .
    They have to be special & make 10K/C unlike the rest of the world is 9K/C

    I miscounted anyway. But according to the link the amount of 10k gold in the ring is 1/20th of the total. So the total pure gold content is 1/48th or a little over 2%

    Either way I've learned something
