I tried to get the lunar series 2 2oz set but the mouse wasn't available anywhere for under $400 which to me is far to high managed to get a 5oz set much easier with a lower mintage so I'm pretty stoked with that I look nonstop for 2oz mouse when I find one at a good price I'll get the others in the series as that is the money coin

Was planning on getting chickens so started collecting the cartons. Didn't get chickens, have a huge collection of cartons and keep adding to it. :) Not really sure why????

I like to collect unusual stuff. Stuff that is rare. I see this type of collecting very mentally rewarding. I am lucky to know the son of a ROV (remotely operated vehicle) Operator/Driver that was part of the team that found the Titanic, HMS Hood, Bismark, and Worked on the Cayman trench "Black Smokers" for a BBC documentary. This trench is one of the deepest in the world. The pictures below show some very rare samples of these black smokers "That have been brought to the surface from this area.

I sent a small part of this rare sample to Naphthalene Man, as a gift...He in turn showed a geo at his work, this is what he said:

    Hi Stic,
i showed the sample to a geo here at work and he said that the sample was primarily pyrite on basalt with some manganese and malachite.

Apologies if you know this but the pyrite (Fools Gold) is the speckly gold stuff, the basalt is the aerated dull rock, the manganese is the reddy/brown bits and the malachite is the green rock (copper oxide).

Well! Its not the holy grail that men look for...Bugga! Hey it is rare. To get a piece you would have to mobilize a multi million dollar sea venture. Anyways! Thanks to Naphthalene Man, and the geo for their info ;)
Hope you all enjoy the pics.

That is pretty cool. I don't imagine there would be to many people with something like that.
Thanks for sharing the pics with us Silver soul.

Now there's a subject. Did you know you can lift a 10 ton prime mover and lower carefully on to a platform of new egg cartons and they wont collapse. :|
