    Hey All,

So yesterday I picked up this 1995 1/2oz Silver Panda (Large Date I believe). It's condition isn't great, but at only $35 I figured it was worth the cost. I've googled, but where can I find more info?

Also, it looks like it's been handled, and there's some crap accumulated around the edges. Is there any low-impact way to clean it (just to remove the debris, nothing else)?

    Photo's below:

    Thanks all,

To be honest, if a coin is in that kind of condition it should be worth spot. Looks really rough. :/

Ultrasonic cleaning may help with the dirt.

Wow... that Panda has been abused... Spot plus a few dollars.

It makes a nice Panda to keep on the table though - for show and tell.

Did you find it or buy it?

For $40 usd (from eBay) I've got the same year with several spots but no scratches ... I thought I've over payed ... for this?? Well, you'd be better off if you ask people around SS to offer you something next time
