    Got this from my accountant

    Can anyone help me out? I didnt know I had to keep evidence of market value/price

    "I need valuations as at 30 June 2012 for the following

    Silver Kookaburra and Koala coins (10ounce)

    1Kg of Silver

    Ounce of Gold

    Ounce of Platinum

    Perth Mint 100 oz silver bar

    I am hoping you have kept 30 June pricing evidence."

    Last time my accountant asked for that I gave a simple analysis of spot at 30th June + X% in premium. That made them happy. They're just looking for a number to plug-in to their software.

    Its an asset valuation

    1oz Gold bar
    1kg Silver Pamp
    10oz kook Koala silver coin
    100oz PM bar

    I did they dont keep individual product prices info on file, just spot price which I have.

    Im sure other people who hold bullion have had to do this for their SMSF tax return!
