Anyone been snapping up Koalas at ridiculous prices, not even 10% above spot in some cases which is insane for a bullion face value $1 coin. I've seen scottsdale rounds go for higher than a Koalas.

So I dont know about you but this little fella is a sleeper, currently 27% premium on these from Perth Mint?

So for the silver hoarder in the short term these babies are your best bet bang for buck IMO, Pandas and Lunars will become overpriced like the Andean Cats.

Or if you buy 500 only 14.3% over spot. You reckon these are a steal at that price?

So my 2012 dragons at 6% over spot were a bargain then?

Wait for the 2012 koalas which should have even lower premiums.

I'm pretty sure a the scottsdale Lion would take out a koala any day. that thing looks a bit mythic..

I much prefer the Omnia rounds.

People seem to love paying extra premium for the cooler animals minted onto coins. Dragons, Tigers, Lions!

edit: I forgot Pandas too. They're damn cool animals.

a bunch of local sellers have started selling scottsdale products, so they're no longer particularly exotic.

Cute goes a long way, just look at the performance of those bush babies. Mythical and mystical creatures are cool too :p Geez, those koalas tend to be a bit on the ugly side. Ag is Ag I suppose but I'm not going out of my way to get anymore koalas.
