Slabbed coins are mainly a US thing it is big there but not in Europe.I collect mainly proofs, most collectors in Europe prefer boxed, cased & cert with all original stuff not slabs. I can see the case for slabbing pandas as some sort of authenticity guarantee but other than that no thanks.
Europe will have their own TPG's slabbing coins some day. Then there will probably be a different attitude toward slabbed coins in short time after that by European collectors of certain coins. I'm not saying it's going to happen tomorrow, just that I believe it eventually will happen. .
