Silver vs gold lunar coins

    This might be a stupid question but which coins give better returns. I'm just comparing 1oz of both.

    If say you bought a silver and gold mouse the premium is % over issue price. What would be the better investment?

    Silver. Gold Lunar depending on the year might have a 30% premium over spot (eg spot is $1,400 and you could buy a 2010 Tiger etc for $1,800 or less) but a 2010 silver Tiger will cost you at least $45 which is more than 100% over current silver spot.

    Thanks bb, that has been my understanding too.

    I was told the 3 coin proof set would be better in the long run.

    I would have thought so too, before they decide to release the 2oz proofs on their own IN ADDITION to their inclusion in the 3 coin set.

    Will there be price breaks at all? Im looking at 500oz for me and a few friends?

    Will downies have any significant qualities?
