    Remember $14?
    Some bought there.
    Some sold now at $20.
    Because it's profit.

Pirocco in 2011 was a buyer when silver was much more expensive....yes?

mmissinglink was a buyer in 2012 when silver was much more expensive....right?

If the seller has a name then there must be a buyer who has a name....whatever that name is is irrelevant.

Sellers need buyers just as much as buyers need sellers....it's the first and oldest dance in human commerce.

I did it on another site, won't reveal names obviously, but if you don't believe me that's fine.

    1) Yes
    2) Don't know, what people say is not necessarily what they do.
    3) The "first and oldest dance in human commerce" is trading. A one-direction property shift isn't.
    4) My post was a reminder on that! :O

Regardless site, why is that obvious?

    But I do believe you!

Just wanted to give the stories losing side a face!

I consider that as a plus.

Take for example what governments' bunch thieves say, when they decide to put money into someone / something

They say "we have freed up X million for ....".

    "Freed up"

Alike that X million sat there jailed or so! :D

Reality is that they STOLE it from a population selection.

They "freed up" the money from its owners, much like a gang thieves.

Of course, "freed up" sounds more nice than "we took", let alone "we stole", lol.

    All, just saying!

It's already AUD $25 this weekend.

Will it goes up more than $30 by the end of this year ?

It could, but it was almost that last week. My personal belief is that silver price is high for one reason, hobbyist and physical investor.
So as long as there are hobbyist like me and investors coming in and buying physical prices will trend up.

There are only two variables that have changed markedly out of three important ones for silver in the last two decades.

    1. more silver being mined.
    2. Only physical bullion sector have increased.
    3. Every other variable just, ie photo industry nooner use much, but solar and other industry use more

    Cool,

You are awesomely helpful Ipv6Ready ;-)

I thought that Silver is not a proper investment tool, until I saw this forum this year.

I'll be buying more silver bullion this year since it is still cheaper than gold.

Thanks people for the nice sharing on this thread.

Of course physical silver (PS) can be treated and used as an investment. Just like any investment, there are potential risks as well as potential rewards.

Some people view PS as a form of savings. I think that can be a legit argument.

Some hold faith that it is a form of "insurance". In my view, this is by far the worst possible argument as PS can never be a form of insurance.....but that won't stop some people from believing otherwise. There's some people who believe that unicorns and deities of all kinds exist....faith based belief is a strange thing.

There will always be demand for PS, both commercially and investor demand. The intrinsic properties of silver make it a valuable (precious) metal. Some of those properties also lend itself to making silver a great medium in which to form highly collectable pieces called coins and medals.

I like polished silver, it's shiny.

    @mmissinglink,

Great, that does make sense mate. I thank you for the sharing and explanation.

The reason I like silver it's because it is cheaper than Gold and easy to colelct & accummulates with some spare changes at the end of months :)

    So that's now
    $2.5 below $21 and
$7.5 below the predicted $25 and
    $13.5 below the predicted $30

    Pirocco,

The PM pricing is fluctuating now before the US election.
I guess it will continues to go down because the Feds is going to increase the Interest Rate as well this year.
