An excellent display and explanation of the chemistry behind tarnishing.The bi-carb and aluminium cleaning method is explained from a chemistry point of view. Coin collectors may find this hard to watch as beautiful patinas disappear in seconds without any surface abrasion.
Works very well on 92.5% silver without the battery, works ok on 80% without the battery, 50% needs the battery and if you don't get it out of the solution quickly it reverts as soon as the current is removed. Great fun to watch though.
