    Just over 24 hours away

    Still on track for Friday GP? And any idea of exact time the site will be out of action from?

    GC, most of the SS fora threads, being PHP in nature, support Atom feed function (you, stacker, ever looked at that Atom topic feed link in the bottom-right? Why not?);
    is it possible to enable this for PM's so that folk can use a feed reader to retrieve their messages for their records?
    I'm sure many will have PM's that they wish to keep for authenticity of trade info on purchases, or in memorium of those that have moved on...

    "No" is a perfectly cromulant answer (because: community plugins), I just had to ask.

    Thanks for all the hard work on SS upgrades :D

    RE: feedback;

    Dump all relevant fields of existing feedback data (timeStamp,submitUserId,recipUserId,flag,content) to one big flat CSV, sort it out later :D

    Thanks for that, I seem to be able to get all my PMs downloaded. But when I access them, I keep getting the notification that I'm not logged in, and when I do I can't go back to that page. Any way to prevent this?

    EDIT: Looks like this issue only occurs if you do the In-depth save thing

    Try filtering what you save which is what I did to only save the messages links on the page. I used scrapbook x by the way, not the original scrapbook.

    So in private messages right click on page, save page as.., in depth save I use 1, then on next page I click filter, put in 'message' and press accept, and it will untick all the links without the word message in it, then start download.

    In the article it says you have to press pause quickly on that page to go to filtering but I found that in scrapbook x it won't automatically start downloading so no need to press pause first.

    Is it possible to give an option to download all my messages?

    My understanding is the PM function may be absent initially, if not ongoing.
    Will the email option still be there?
    Chiz.

    Forum upgrade will be happening this weekend (US time) - so this site will remain live for a bit longer.

    This current version of the site will aim to stay up for a month after the upgrade in parallel with the new site (possibly on a slightly different URL) , so PMs will be able to continue being accessed for the month of April.

    Suggestions above will be looked at once the upgrade occurs.

    From my understanding feedback will be migrated it is only pms that can't be done.

    See post 10. The new system has separate categories for buyer's and seller's feedback which aren't specified in the current forum, so it won't map exactly, but it looks like existing feedback will be retained in some form.

    Migration has been postponed until next weekend - some family matters came up that delayed the planned start.

    Sorry to hear that goldpelican .. but on the other hand glad i have another week to make sure all messages are captured ... even though 95% there (I hope).

    Just caught up with rest of thread .. glad to see that you will be keeping up original site in parallel with newly migrated site till end of April.

    It is now almost 07:00AM on the US East Coast so if Goldpelican is ready and not otherwise occupied, it's entirely possible that the migration could start within the next 12 hours.

    For those with active trades, this issue is significant

    Why? It has been stated the existing site will continue to live for up to a month post go-live.
