I'm wanting to get an idea of what the market is paying for a Silver Stackers 10oz Silver Bar? On Goldstackers its listed for around $329.00 (buyback), are people really paying that much for the bar because it is now considered rare? Thanks.
Two sold on here not that long ago for $300ea. Two sold more recently for $265ea I think they will sell for the asking price. If people want to sell them cheap, they will sell. If a seller was to advertise them for $330ea I still think they would sell. With a mintage of 1000 and 200 of them in a SMSF they should demand a hefty price. But like everything, its what people are willing to pay.
Thanks for the replies Robert and Bloomst. I was a little stocked to see the high premium but, yeah I'm not complaining. ahah Who has 200 in there SMSF? The funny thing is that when I placed the order I thought they were 10 oz Scottsdale bars (not paying attention probably blinded by greed), In the long run it turned out alright.
They happened. http://www.goldstackers.com.au/stor...tender-ten-xag-10oz-stackable-silver-bar.html Only 90 made in the first batch. These ones have no serial numbers on them. Next batch should be numbered.
About $300 here: http://forums.silverstackers.com/topic-62372-silver-10oz-bars-and-1oz-nwtm-bullets.html Oh, wait ...
Only 90 without a serial #? At least one of them is here in the US.. The stamping is a little on the weak side, but overall a nice bar.
All the Stackers are now made by Scottsdale, previously Materion, and before that Academy. It's effectively a proprietary format.
