Something to be mindful of, is that every natural resource on this planet is finite and has a cost associated with is refining/preparation. If Silver is replaced by a cheaper alternative in solar panels, any surplus metal will be picked up and reused in various other areas and demand will increase. There are plenty of high and low points, but one thing for sure, is that silver is and will always be a major industrial material.
