When you look at a chart for silver in AUD over say 3 months, will that take into account the exchange rate at the time and so the actual AUD price at the time or is it likely to be a USD chart that is converted to AUD at current prices. Thing is the chart I was looking at seemed to track the US chart pretty closely despite the fall from 94 to 86 cents which I would have thought would have been obvious to see when comparing a usd vs aud chart. What price tracking sites do you use?
I use the free charts tab on stockcharts.com. Then the code - $silver:$xad Must admit I haven't asked that question, but assume it makes a chart that reflects the conversion rate of USD:AUD of the actual days, not the current fx rate applied to past dates. I'm sure it does - it's a progressive chart, it does not go back and change the past price prints each day according to fluctuations in fx. That would be mad.
