    So far for me its been an absolute no-brainer!

    Once the GSR drops below 20 i may give gold a second thought, but certainly not before...

    I'm eyeing off a platinum platypus actually, and wouldn't mind an ounce or two of palladium, for long term hold.

    So you reckon you've grown your capital all you need and now you're switchin' to "protection mode"?

    You're lucky - i'm still way too poor to even bother with protecting my wealth ... i'm still definately in the "build" phase so its silver for me all the way!

    I must admit I thought seriously about switching to gold as protection when I sold half my silver. It made sense but I couldn't bring myself to buy something almost double it's previous high. I'm sure I can find something more undervalued than either gold or silver.

    A bit of gold probably wouldn't hurt though.

    Yeah I did.. well when I say sold, I mean I sold it for silver. 1 oz au for a kilo of white metal. It doesn't feel right holding gold at the moment. I guess I'm still in the 'silver is still massively undervalued' phase. Silver's affordability per oz compared with gold just makes it open to so many more people. We already know there is not enough ounces of silver for each person on the planet to have just one ounce each. How lucky we must be to even have 20 ounces.

    I think of $1500 silver in mike Maloneys videos.. he seems wildly optimistic.. but if we look at the old GSR rule (which may blow out in the other direction - ie 3 oz of gold buys 1 oz of silver) and just talk about the 15:1 rule and if gold gets to $15,000 an oz (who knows) that's a ten fold jump in gold. If silver stays at the ratio at 15:1... thats at least $1000 silver (21.2 fold change). To me, $1000 silver even seems more realistic than $15,000 gold.

    so less silver above ground than gold, silver being used up (gold hoarded), very few silver mines. WAY more gold mines. Gold is all over the news..silver..not really.

    Input? Can silver turn to sh&t in ten years? Is all this hype misinformation???
