Silver falling after debt deal - where will it bottom?

    As predicted silver is falling after a deal has been made to raise the debt ceiling.

    What are your thoughts on how far silver will fall and how long it will stay down?

    will be important to see if the USA maintain their AAA rating, i suspect the steepest falls if they manage to hold onto it.

    maybe we will see sub $30 US?? But my money is it'll hit the 200mda and bounce ... isn't it something like $32 USD now? Anyone know where to get the figure (200mda) not in a chart?

    The ratings agencies were wanting a 4 trillion cut in spending but this only delivers 3 trillion and 10 years to do it.
    It looks to me as though it may not be enough to stop a rating downgrade and then we will see SHTF!

    I'd say it might come down to $33 level but who knows, I'll start buying around $35 US/OZ.

    Same...actually already bought some lol (just in case).

    The US still isn't in the clear, if their ratings get hurt PMs are going to rocket upwards.

    Definitely will buy more as it drops to $35 US (if it does).

    The majority of the people (including me) would probably be unable to call the bottom exactly. Best bet is to keep buying evenly spread as it slides down so you cost average as close to the bottom as possible.

    Keep your eye on the AUD-USD as that will affect buying prices. The same factors that absorbed the recent gains in USD which were not reflected in AUD could be a double hit on the POS with a bit of luck!

    I doubt that the rating agencies would be game to downgrade the USA.

    They could make life difficult for them, and maybe the reason it has not been done yet.

    I am waiting as well, For my sake, I am hoping to keep prices down until the end of Sep- PM's shopping time- then they can go right up!! :cool: ;)
