I will hopefully be working, as a secondary teacher.

I have enough dirty fiat not to be in any rush to find a job though... actually just selling some of my stack to wipe all my debts/phone plans etc at the moment.

Debt can be useful for many things.

I go into debt every single month, and then I pay it back during interest free period ^_^

I think having a good financial advisor is invaluable. Accountant and solicitor also. All of which i knew for many years before i used thier services personally.

Investments aside. Things like asset protection, income and life insurance, wills, powers of attorney etc are all things that i hadnt considered previously.

I guess using eBay for some of your panda purchases you can do that! I would be too if I could lol.

I don't put that much through the card, but have spent enough on it in the last 6 months to have got $300 cashback in reward points.

When you live a simple lifestyle, you don't need cc's. I don't feel I need to actively use credit cards, vouchers etc etc and get free this and that to try to make my life more exciting. I do it in other ways :)

Good on ya tho. The banks love you.. they're waiting for that one missed payment like a big cat stalking it's prey ;)

Good point Thatguy however, I still think they have enough control at the moment to influence the timing of such an intervention.

A good financial advisor ??? My last one cost me big time and my last accountant was sh#t house.
I would use one again if there was such a person in Perth.
EXAMPLE,, my sister works for a large leanding society and there financial advisor is pointing to a bad future in financial investments and will talk about it at lunch but than two minutes later he's advising clients to fix there money into the things that he is warning against.

    Evil world.

This is what I am reading too. Will hit the USD50 ceiling several times before punching through on its way to USD60 by the end of 2012.

    Hope so anyway.

Wouldn't you guys save much more than the:

Interest earned - Rewards cards fees

... if you reduced consumption? @_@
