I dont see $50 as being a major hurdle. I assume you are claiming that because it will be a record high, but really it is pointless. we all know $50 three decades ago bought alot more than $50 does now - you need to factor in inflation over that period. Remember the GSR was around 15 then and is 40 now. apples and oranges
the idea of having a huge silver party for all the silver stackers if it $50/oz...sounds like a damn great idea........i'd be in for that
Very good question! it's getting closer by the day. I think when it hits $50 an ounce the media and more of the general public will become aware. Possibly taking it to the next phase of the cycle.
$50 huh, might take a while!......so I'm being realistic here. Source: http://www.virginmedia.com/games/inpictures/most-controversial-game-pr-stunts.php?ssid=5 A pimped mobility scooter will do me fine thanks
it is important, for you could foresee a lot of selling pressure in the mid to high $40s however, once this is exhausted and it punches through, we are officially on the curve in phase II, whereby media attention brings the issue to the masses by that time, we can expect food and energy prices are beginning to show up noticeably, eg a sandwich is 10 bucks, coffee 7 dollars, or something like that once J6P sees the prices of everything going up, feeling the pinch on the mortgage and Kochie tells him silver is above its all time nominal high, its a no brainer in fact, what I am hoping for is widespread media attention, before that point, such that when we get past $50, the fun will really begin in earnest. we will then be in uncharted territory, probably not just in silver, but in the escalation our interesting times
Absolutely! I do find it amusing when people say they'll sell x% at such and such a dollar price etc.. The dollar price dont mean diddly...
dollar price can mean everything depending on what you paid for it & what you want to buy at the time ..didnt i just see another member sell some to go on a holiday ? he obviously thought the dollar amount was just right for his circumstances. enjoy that holiday !!!!
I'm guessing that was only a partial sell to cover costs for something as opposed to an allout sellout? I believe it would be prudent to sell out only when PMs are overvalued when compared to RE (or shares if you trust the share market) as opposed to any arbitrary dollar price.
your last post said sell X% at such & such dollar amount not allout sellout !!! stop twisting it to suit yourself read your previous post
Dragged this on from 16 pages back... enjoy (BTW this is light hearted and I am in no way having a go at anyone just researching)
