Both the USD & AUD spot price have increased by 18% this month. Therefore the AUD increase to $23.05 so far has not been as a result of the AUD dropping. If the RBA drops rates on Tuesday and USD spot stays the same, then the AUD only needs to drop to $0.73 to give me my $24. Two flies in the ointment however, a possible Friday night smackdown and no interest cut. One saving grace if the RBA does not cut, is just the shear momentum of silver spot rising. This thread has been poetry in motion. It has helped us focus on a month where silver history has unfolded. Do I get the cigar next week?
Do I get the cigar next week? I hope so, I'm barracking for you. When do you think we will hit AUD$30?
If we hit $24 next week, and the same rate of growth continues, we'll have $30 in under 2 months. But this is not a prediction. Baby steps, $24 first, if at all, then shoot for $27 by July 1. Outside of the economy, Trump's nomination of the Republican Party, GOP, will have to be factored in.
Good luck with your call but there are lots of variables (ifs and buts) "Wasting my precious days, wishing my life away, If wishes were fishes we'd all cast nets in the sea" Eric Bogle.
Thanks, but it's just a call. Up or down, I'm just a stacker buying on the dips and flipping on the rises. As long as my holding keeps increasing, I'm happy.
So close I can taste it. I'm rooting for you Sammy. You'll be able to put CJ's comments in your signature.
Market closed with no smackdown. I wonder if the expectation of a rate cut, plus the incremental rise in spot will give me $24 on Monday? If not, it may rest with the RBA on Tuesday. I have millions of cents invested in silver, so could sell up this week for a profit. However, with property and shares ready to tank, silver is the only game in town!
Considering silver was $20 at the start of the month when the call was made, I'd say $23.50 is close enough to $24 well done Sammy
So I wonder how they intended on getting a 7-9% yeild required to keep super funds in the black. If we get down to %1.5 (obviously on way to 0%) will be interesting to watch Aussie's that aren't drunk riot at the 11% skimmed of there pay to put in the casino for the last 20 years with no chance of return..
It surpassed $23.50 and he did say "around" $24 so close enough for sure. And let's see what happens next week.
Happy Greek Easter for tomorrow Sammysilver! This is close enough to $24. Well done on predicting this right from start of the month when silver was $20.
