Yeah. Interesting. I don't think it's that cut and dry. But I do think they overlooked the effects an economic shutdown could have. I do think they have overreacted and still have not placed strategic restrictions on the high risk demographics. TB has been killing millions a year for hundreds of years (per capita), and everyone seems to have forgotten or don't care. The flu can wipe out millions of people with the right variables. We did need to do something, but what the world did was too broad and panic driven IMO. I'd like to see the suicide rate differences this year when they are released to the public. The huge influx of mental health and suicide prevention TV advertising paid for by government is telling me they are really trying to mitigate those figures before the public knows.
