    Hi,

I am a newb here and I am looking for some advice.

I have to ship 1kg of silver and I was wondering the best service to use.

I was hoping to get shipping insurance but I can find anyone that will insure bullion during shipping.

    Cheers
    Ian

    Hi Ian,

If you're in Australia, most users use either Registered Post or Platinum Express Post. Neither service provides insurance coverage for bullion though.

Some imaginative folk describes content as "metal samples" for insurance purposes, but I've not heard how they fared in the event of having to make a claim and prove their "metal samples" were worth $1500.

I had thought of that , but like you say in the event of a claim you would need to prove what was in the parcel was worth $1500 ,

    How about metal sculpture ?

I wonder how much art deco figurine would be worth ?
