Hi i was wondering if anyone here has had any experience selling some bullion to AEJ?

If so how do they conduct the transaction?

    -Do they record any details?
-Do they test the metal before buying?
-Do they pay upfront in cash?

    Thanks

    You in Hobart?

    I have cash.

You would do better $ to sell to SS forum members.

    What you thinking of selling?

    They pay cash.

give them a ring first if BIG $

and get the answer from the horses mouth & get a name to quote.

naa not looking at selling now, but was just interested to hear what peoples experiences have been with them what it comes to selling.

When the time does come to sell ill post here first, but in case i have to sell something quick for what ever reason it good to know how places like AEJ go about buying.

Just like other places, by screwing you with the spread. How do you think the "spread" got its name?

    I am always buying!
Will pay a minimum of spot for an Ainslie or ABC bar up to a kilogram.
$10 above spot for a 10oz Perth Mint bar, 20oz Perth Mint or Kilogram Perth Mint bar
If you want the maximum price put a sales tread up.
But if you want a fast safe transaction or need to shift a decent volume or just want to avoid the hassles of dealing with lowballers/tyrekickers then you won't get a better deal from any other dealer in Australia.
BTW just because a dealer advertises a lowball $$$$ for buybacks, it doesn't mean squat. If they haven't got the product in stock to sell then you can negotiate a better buyback price.. Their buyback price isn't written on stone.
