I have got 4 of the series and will purchase the ones I don't have. I like most of the designs but will buy the ones I don't as well (Ak and weed one) as I may as well have the set.
The poor quality finish on the bu is really arsey but I guess they aren't that expensive. The proofs look great but are outside of my stacking strategy, having said that I would love to put the 5oz trivium proof up on my wall.
Here's hoping we don't get another 20 repetitive YouTube clips for new coins..

Ha! Same here, I try and steer away from rounds with a strong political message or something that is likely to be be contraversial. Just makes them harder to sell when the time comes. I have picked up the AK and the Weed though just so I can have the full set. Bunch of suckers!

Where would you draw the line though? So far I agree with most of the rounds, and the ones I don''t agree with I have a laissez faire attitude towards. If it turned out that the mint wanted to produce a pro nazi round I might just skip the rest of them.

The 5oz coins aren't that big, not big enough for a plaque anyway. When I got the 1kg Dragon I was hoping it would be the size of a dinner plate so I could put it up on the wall but they just made it thicker instead.

Haha. :D I think there is many similarities between (some) car sellers and precious metals sellers. :) You won't be sorry if you buy this (junk). :p

I won't say I nesessarily believe in "doomsday scenarios" as there were many "circumstances" during our beloved humankind history (plagues, wars, (economic) crisis, diseases, natural disasters, religious things (year 666), etc., etc.) which "smell of doomsday". And even if it happens (or I see it) I believe it will be more in the vein of book/movie "The Road"...
But yeah, I often got feeling that others are living in bubbles. One thing is maybe overwhelming amount of information (bad news, etc) and people's apathy (which can be caused by previous) - very few believe they can change something. People are one some sort of roller-coaster consisting of their (small) problems and time which runs faster and faster every day. And maybe selfishness. :)

This movie is exactly about the "blindness":

    :D

As far as SBSS goes. Maybe behind is just money. Which probably is. Or not. Who cares. I "support"/like some of his messages. And some of the coins are interesting (5oz version mostly). But releasing coins so fast mostly kills my interest in series. It's like African Wildlife series. 1 elephant, 2 elephants, 3 elephants, big lion, baby lions etc.

I understand him that he don't want to follow Bernard Von NotHaus footsteps (prison) ... but his plans was to give people "their currency", some alternative, not only make mockery/critic of current system...

Does the Redoubt count? Released about the time of the fallout. I think I might have been the only person that bought them, hardly ever see them on ebay.

i didn't actually know they had produced any of them... i thought it died in the arse before production. (arse is ok to use on this forum yes?)
if that counts, then do the first AG47 and cannabis count also?

For those who have gotten the new SBSS coins from Golden State Mint (Warbird, Love, AK47, Cannabis), can you all share the condition of the coins?
Are they any better than Mulligan Mint (previous Mint before the split of CD & rob Gray) coins?

Do the new coins still have milk spots and imperfections like those of Freedom Girl, Slave Queens?

    Thanks for sharing.

The strikes on mine are actually weaker than those produced by mulligan. Not good quality as far as what I bought goes.

Really because I had 10 Redoubts, they didn't have the SBSS reverse it was the Eagle. Are you saying NO SBSS Redoubts were produced? I didn't think the quality was very good, weak strikes, inconsistent finish and some pitting like marks. If what you say is true I'm a complete idiot as I sold them way to cheap.

No I don't think the quality has gone up. In fact all the new medallions I have purchased have been really scratched up and no as nearly as clean as M2.

There are two kind of redoubts.... One with a eagle on the back mints unknown. And the prototype of the SBSS (10) with the silver bullets and silver shield on back. And your right both the prototypes and M2 with the eagle on the back were not very good. I have yet to find a good M2 version with the eagle on back. As far as I know there are only 10 with the SBSS back. Rarest of the rare and I have only seen twice come up for auction on ebay.

I like the symbolism of the santa coin.
Consumerism font is the classic " Coca cola" font/writing, the red and white Santa we all see today is a product of the Coca cola corporation.
