    Can anyone tell me anything about this coin from the Royal Australian Mint, Canberra?
    Presented in a brown case with RAM logo in gold.

    I think it is from 1966?

    Can't be from 1966 as the 50c piece was round back then. It has to be from 1968 or after. And seeing it has the young QEII head, it must be 1984 or prior. The image changed in 1985.
