Hi all I'm sorry if this isn't the right section to be asking this but I was wondering whether anyone has heard of / had dealings with this company. A friend has recommended this company to me however they only just signed up and as I am a complete newbie investor I want to make sure it's all legit. The man I've spoken to deals with options contracts in gold. They operate out of Belize. Many thanks Lisa

Would you invest your hard earned in a company that you know very little of; that has an essentially miniscule web presence; and is located in central america? Let your friends explore it first, and if they are happy after 6 months or so, then consider puting your toe in the water.
Yes I have had dealings with them. DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM. Quick way to lose money, not at first but it will happen and when you want to pull out money is almost impossible to get. You have to keep on them and on them. They will not answer emails and when they do you will find "your account manager" is on holidays. Cannot stress enough keep away.
My friend has apparently doubled his money since putting it in a couple of months ago. Though, it should be noted he hasn't actually tried to withdraw any of it yet. If anyone else has had any dealings with them i'd be interested in hearing your stories too. I think that I will hold of investing for now. Thank you everyone for your advice.
If you've had any sort of money in Physical over the last 6 months you've doubled your money. Not impressive. Not wanting to jump to any conclusions based on only a small amount of info .... ... but ... LITFA! (Give it a wide berth!)
If you're after a quick buck, there are plenty of Nigerian Princes who will give you $5million if you just give them your bank details.
Due to the dubious sounding nature of this company, I've explicitly removed their URL from the original post. Bit of snooping reveals... Site around since 2009 Registered via an anonymous proxy service in the US Googling "Rimbauer Group" pretty much only returns their website, and this thread asking about them! NOTHING about that website instills any sort of confidence.
DO NOT SEND MONEY TO DUBIOUS/DOUBTFUL/COLOURFUL/HIGH PRESSURE COMPANIES OVERSEAS!! They are not covered by any Australian legistlation and you will find the country they are in is not interested in complaints from Australians. If you have ANY problems at all you are on your own. I know that when I have a problem with an Australian company it is hard enough and I've got the Australian laws and government agencies to help. I'll repeat myself - if you have ANY problem at all - you are completely on your own! malachii
Thank you for the removal of their url. Entirely appropriate imho. I have replied to OP's private message with more details hopefully it will assist in an informed decision re these parasites. Malachi you are spot on. It is difficult enough getting redress in Australia without taking on Berlize Panama.
Yeah I have to say the points made on this forum have convinced me not to go ahead with this investment. Thank you everyone for your guidance on this (in particular kaz!)
