I used to buy from "Perth Bullion" before they went bust. I know about "Bullion Now" being reputable from all the reviews here! But where else can I buy physical gold and silver online? Please give me some recommendations. Appreciated!
Depends what you mean by that... They are open and trading as ever, the Intrinsic Tender rounds are still being produced, but are in bar form at present. "Rounds" are in the pipeline.
Bullion Now - probably best all round prices for sales and buy backs. Decent customer service. Melbourne based / walk in's (F2F in store) Bullion List - Good product listing and great sales and services but more expensive than BN - Sydney based / Walk ins Ainslie bullion - Good product list but way more expensive than BN - Brisbane based / Haven't been to their offices but assume they have walk in's. ABC Bullion - Decent but lesser selection than the above. On line and in person buys have been easy. Sydney, Melb, Bris and Perth offices....Prices closer to BN. Walk in's but won't go near their Sydney office again as they moved from a discrete / out of public view location to a loud shop front in Martin Place that screams "mug me when I walk out of here" Shop around for the PM's you want and best price...All of the above are great to deal with. In the end it comes down to your want v their price as to whom to go with. If ya want the best prices....shop here at Silver Stackers.
Swan bullion, smaller range, but for my money, the prices are always lower than any other dealer on basic stuff.the service is first class, the postage and packaging is hard to beat.they also consolidate shipping.
If the bullion dealer only ships via courier you may not have the option to opt out of insurance...if via AustPost....it's your call. If you search this forum you'll find stories of PM's gone missing in the bowels of Aust Post....good luck claiming back on Aust Post....If the bullion dealer does a good job of securely packaging the items to avoid "feel and identify" and wrapped it real well without makings on it to give away it's business of origin you should be okay....Packages via Aust Post that say "look at me" and old mate sorter can work out what's inside...then the risk escalates. Sig on delivery...always a must.
4000 items posted via auspost, give or take in last 3 years not a single parcel has gone missing.touch wood.had a few shitty posties dropping without getting signature.even after covid but so far so good.
Parcel-pinching is one of those crimes I wouldn't want to catch someone in the act doing because of the kind of over-reaction it creates (similar to road-rage or car-keying). Not worth going to jail over but almost worth it in the moment..!
Hi everyone. Has anyone had any dealings with https://bulkbullion.com.au and would care to comment on the experience? They are a Melbourne based operation and their address is the same location for the As Good As Gold Melbourne office.
I have used Gold Stackers and Bullion Now in Melbourne and Bullion List in Sydney. They are all excellent to deal with, but for the best prices you can't beat this forum.
