This happened 4 months ago, I wasn't going to waste my time report here but I suddenly saw that he left me negative feedback and that irritates me a lot. I'm going to post all the photos, PM, just to let stackers here to know what had happened, and avoid getting the same problem. Most importantly is to encourage stackers to report irresponsible stackers. Below is the related conversations. 2015-12-16 11:14:25 I assume it's in mint condition? Clubman 2015-12-16 12:12:31 Capsule has scratches Coin is mint Eliassamaha Hi Eliassamaha Got the package finally. However, I'm very disappointed at it, have a look at the attached photos. The coin capsule is falling apart, coin is damaged. Obviously the coin wasn't packed properly that caused the problem. I'm seeking refund or compensation you can offer. Regards, Clubman Hi Clubman, The coin is mint I told you the capsule was already damaged The coin was packed with a lot of bubble wrap which you have taken of to take the photo I'm not going to refund you any money for a damaged capsule Eliassamaha Hi Eliassamaha, Attached is the photo of the coin + the wrapping you've included. I'm hoping to resolve this issue, otherwise, I will leave negative comment with no choice, and put this photo on Silver Stackers too. Regards, Clubman Mate I told you the capsule was damaged before you bought it And now your asking for money back Like I said the coin is mint Send it back and I'll give you a refund that's all I can do Eliassamaha Once I receive the coin in the same condition as I sent it I'll transfer the refund Eliassamaha Eliassamaha The coin is already damaged, I cannot send back at the condition you sent out. This is truly a terrible situation. Coin wasn't mint, a few milk spots on both side. Extremely fragile packing, breaking the capsules and further scratches on the coin. If you admit the problem I would have just let it go, but you denied all facts and take no responsibilities to the situation. Truly a seller to avoid for all stackers. Don't worry about anything anymore, I will publish my purchasing experience and hope that no more victims. Clubman
Wrong section and also you'd attached the photos for the coin's damaged side. From your provided photos, I can only see damages from capsule only. This capsule can be bought from Perth Mint directly or contact Chip for a new one.
Capsule has scratches If there is one thing I have learnt trading on here it is always ask for photos. Some people like to push the boundaries with their descriptions.
To be fair, I believe the capsule was in good shape, but the packaging was really fragile, just ONE layer of bubble wrap, outside a KILO coin, how much protection does it offer?
Clubman, not really a question to you but your trades say 7 but when I look they total 11 trades. Why don't the numbers match?
That's another sad story, 2 negative feedback straight. I posted a coin to a buyer in a "next day delivery" satchel, but it didn't arrive next day. The buyer assumed that I should compensate on behalf of Australian Post. I told him that I cannot refund the postage to him coz Australia Post will just give me another new satchel for free which I was preparing to forward that to him. He insisted me to give him $$ immediately, I asked him to contact the Post and find out himself on their policy, he wasn't happy, and left me bad comment.
I still don't understand because a negative feedback still counts as a trade. Also, even if we discount those 2 negative feed backs as trades your trades total should say 9, not 7. Anyone else know what's going on there? A glitch in the SS system?
I guess when you have a negative feedback, you receive a (-1). So 11 trades, 9 positives, 2 negatives, ended up 7.
OP ( Clubman ) You might want to dump one of those pictures too! For your own security, that has your name & address on it.
Postage of kilo coins requires really heavy duty packaging to survive AusPost. I have also received some kilo coins with a smashed capsules with very similar damage as pictured above, but fortunately the coins were fine and the member kindly sent me new capsules (thanks again!) A bit of bubble wrap may not be sufficient. Mine:
I can't remember which seller here. He wraps the coin with layers of soft papers and then puts coins in a take-away container, which is a brilliant idea and free.
