Just came across this article in the smh about the RBA possibly printing money on the side... http://www.smh.com.au/business/markets/is-rba-printing-money-to-weaken-dollar-20121107-28y2s.html I know Asian govts are printing away to keep up with the decline in USD to encourage exports and inbound investments but for Australia to do so at this stage may indicate the mining sector maybe in trouble. By the way property prices in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore , etc have been going nuts thanks to all the excess money in the system. In my opinion a lot riskier than property prices in aus but I wonder what will happen if we also keep printing... Scary thought
Same/similar? http://forums.silverstackers.com/topic-33295-rba-might-be-printing-money-for-foreign-banks-ubs.html
Everyone is printing. Even Asia, Australia? I'd like to hear more about those Singapore property prices going up! Very interesting phenomenon...
