Being in an APCGS slab i wouldn't buy it as it is most likely a fake. The owner of APCGS has a less than sterling reputation and it has been reported that his has graded fake coins in the past. His choice of names (eg APCGS to piggyback PCGS reputation) also has done him no favour. The only way I would buy this coin is if I had a solid money back guarantee, I have had it in hand to confirm its real or if it was certified by a trustworthy source, NOT Apcgs!
    Steer clear is my advice

    Nice item.

Sorry but I don't know much about this sort of gear.

Maybe the Royal Australian Mint would have some info.

And being a pretty new member you probably didn't realise this: http://forums.silverstackers.com/forum-11-numismatics.html may be a more suitable spot to go if you're not looking to sell or trade.

But fair enough, you're trying to get a price and I hope you do well.

Maybe some of the numismatic websites?

I don't know anything about them, but plenty of members here would for sure.

    Good luck, anyway.

PS: different people have spoken very well of this man: http://www.numismatics.com.au

I also thought that it was from an overseas person as i have seen the advertisement on ebay for cheap double sided coins
HOWEVER i saw DOWNIES which i assume is a legit and professional company in Australia selling a double sided coin 2007 5 cent

    http://www.downies.com/catalogues/2013/130315/130315_Error_Coins.pdf

    Thats the link above.

downies is a legit and professional company with a reputation to maintain.
APCGS is a cowboy from QLD who is known to buy up coins, package them in slabs designed to emulate PCGS and flog them off to uneducated buyers. anything that guy has touched is best avoided

i think alot of people are over the debate/fight over coin grading companies :)

The question At the moment is

    DOES a 2007 double head 5 cent exist ?? or not :)

I am not trying to start something or dismiss anyone.. It would be better to avoid the APCGS V PCGS C NGC V ETC debates due to the fact that this topic is about the coin :)

    Cheers.

i have seen them offered for sale before, never seen one in the flesh myself. the fake double headed ones are medal alignment, so the heads are both the same way up when rotating the coin (like our everyday circulating coins).

the real double headed 5c coin, the heads are coin alignment, which is the right way up if you flip the coin (like US coins)

this error can only be found in the Aussie 2007 5c coin

when they first came up they were selling for around $2000, have seen as high as $2400 being asked for

This coin is in an apcgs slab. A person known to slab doctored coins. I would call this coin more likley fake than real.
The owner of apcgs is also known for creating multiple accounts on forums to promote Apcgs products without declaring his interest. Slime fellow

I have given him hell on FB :D
But all his "mates" are on there & they believe his bs
    He can't/want answer my question
Why none of the dealers stock his label
Maybe his gone to further lengths to get one into Downies .
So who's game to buy it from Downies & take the slab apart to check it

This particular coin in the OP is not the same coin as the one Downies sold. The 2007 5 cent 2 headed coin is an know error, but you want to have an expert look at it before you commit the sort of money these command as APCGS have a reputation of trying to legitimise "shed job"(fake error) coins.
Basically beware of dealing with anyone in QLD especially if they are promoting APCGS and are dealing in rare/unique error/key date coins, you might very well be dealing with Peter Wallace himself

The fact that the OP used an image of an extremely questionable label/slab may mean that the OP is asking the wrong question.

If such an alleged real double head coin exists, you shouldn't be turning to questionable sellers' pictures. Instead, you'd be contacting legit dealers who specialize in specialty error coins and instead of asking does such a coin exist, be asking which are the best dealers of error coins.

He didn't attack you, he simply offered some sound advice. If you want to know about the legitimacy of a coin don't use images of a coin that are at best in a dodgy slab at worse obtained from a coin fraud who is trying to fleece a member of this forum.
The downies coin would have been a good example to use, I don't know why you didn't use it in your 1st post.
So relax no one is trying to fight you , people are just making sure everyone knows that the coin you put up in your 1st post should be avoided unless they enjoy being ripped off by con artists.
Out of interest where did you obtain that image?

1st post was trying to obtain a value on a specific coin
if you would just read the whole thread it would be clear :)
    all good :)
