W A Grubb..it reeks of Authenticity ..Earthyness ..do you think it would be William Axel?

Perhaps the initials are Willamena Alexandra? ..who would know?

The bar looks too corporate for my taste..i like the rough ones.

    Minted bars look nice.
    Cast bars are ugly.
    Poured bars are utterly disgusting!

Poured bars are all individual works of art. My favorite is poured Silver.

Hi all, I recently found these and wanted to see if anyone has come across others before. The mark on the back looks like a AW/A&W/ Smelters logo, so I'm thinking they must have made them for RMM decades ago.
"The logo takes the form of an aztec sun and sometimes these ingots were called that. The logo is actually the letters 'AW' repeatedly circulating formulating an impression of the sun. The hallmark is identified as "A&W Smelters & Refiners" based out of Mojave, CA (source: Silver Refiners of the world and their identifying ingot marks, published by The Silver Institute). These ingots were produced in the 1970's." the only RMM bars I've seen besides these are all around 5 troy ounces, and extruded, not poured.

does anyone know anything about city mint victoria?

i tried to do a bit of research on it, both internet and here, but found nothing.

are they still around? is it a rare/old bar?

btw, the red background with city mint logo is the original bag the bar came in.
