Hey Kilo, I found this link searching the web. An antique Queen Anne English Britannia standard silver bowl by Maker: James Rood https://www.acsilver.co.uk/shop/pc/...wl-by-James-Rood-Antique-Queen-Anne-p8514.htm Have no idea how this relates due to dates, could just be a coincidence.
^ thanks for the link Jonesy been right down that rabbit hole too, think your right re. dates might just be a case of <shrug> it is what it is
Not sure, tried a reverse image google search with no luck Edit to add: reverse searched image of Rood branding

Does anyone know anything about these bars? The one with chinese characters is 186gr of silver. Does anyone can read and translate the chinese bar?
The M M bar is produced by W. E. Mowrey out of Saint Paul Minnesota, they've been around since 1899 and still in business. Please let me know if you are looking to sell.
I was wondering if ones like this (more standard ABC stamp) were floating around. I wonder if the dimensions fit the older ABC kilos or the SRM kilos, do you have others to compare to?
I think the other SRM kilos without the abc stamp is much longer and skinnier from memory. I will get the measurements, put it up here and perhaps we can get Silverbandit to measure his to compare.... approx:87x23x48mm
