    Hi ' I have been all the net Ebay called the Perth mint ,Yet still non the wiser to the mintage of the Colored Rabbit lunar series .It says on the PM no more than PM 3800 colored rabbits will be minted as part of the 170,000 world wide.So does this mean that there are 173,800 colored rabbits out there somewhere?
    Can someone help here as I was going to buy some more if the mintage is 3800

    Yes. It means 3,800 come in the box with the certificate and the Perth Mint can then choose to mint a further 170,000 just the coin (no certificate or packaging). How many of the 170,000 are actually made is up to the mint as is usually determined by demand from its dealer networks in Europe and the US.
