Question for the US members (this is not an offer to sell thread).

I have a number of pre-33 gold coins (from $2.50 to $20 pieces) that I've built up in a collection here in Australia - all nice pieces, all XRF'd, Liberties and Indians, no ex-mount, none cleaned - generally better than average bullion grade, including one or two $10 pieces that would probably be worth getting graded if I was collecting them for numismatics. I can waltz in to any scrap dealer in Australia and get 105-106% of spot for them without haggling - what is the market like for disposing of them in the US? Easy to get well over spot?

Trying to decide if I dispose of them here in Australia or take them to the US on an upcoming visit to sell them there.

Don't really want to part with them, but if they fetch more in the US than they do here, there's an opportunity coming up for me to flip them into more ounces.

Also have a stack of 1/10oz modern Eagles, and it's very apparent they will fetch more in Australia than in the US, just not sure on the pre-33.
