    Has anyone ever successfully made a direct purchase of goods or services in a shop using either bullion coins or bullion bars?
    Eg paying for lunch in a cafe or paying for a dental check up etc.

    If you have successfully done this please post your experance and the type of business it was.

    I completed some minor renovations and repair work for a lady just recently, and was renumerated in silver.
    Well worth it !

    I'll be raising the notion next month at our Dentist we see.
