Ordered my shipment on July 1st and yet ProvidentMetals said they will ship it out mid this week roughly July 8th/9th. This was a debit card transaction.

Has anyone else had sluggish business with Providentmetals? This is my 2nd time buying from them and they are so slow unlike JMbullion which ships it out the next day for me.

Which companies do you find reliable for being prompt + reliable other then JMbullion?

I pretty much only use JMBullion. Fast plus they take Paypal now which I like and the free shipping.

I have used them for almost all of my purchases except for 2 cases where I thought I should broaden my purchases.

Just purchased the 5 10oz provident metal bars just because it was such a good price but I hate the shipping issue.

Still is no reason for that long of a time period to process an order for their normal business days. Plus my last shipment took 2 and a half weeks from Texas to IL.

APMEX is the fastest shipper I have ever dealt with, although they do not offer free shipping on small orders.

By the way - What is the rush ?? Your prices are locked-in as soon as your order is submitted, so what difference does the shipping time really make ??

hands down, Provident is the slowest I have ever ordered from. I guess it shouldn't matter as long as you get the metal, but it is a nuance, plus doesn't one want to hurry up and marvel over the preciousness of the metal they just ordered...I know I do. :D

Well hell, wish this topic had been up earlier. I just submitted an order to Provident this morning.

Guess I'll wait and see how long it takes, but as the above poster stated JMBullion was fast when I ordered from them. I just assumed all the major guys shipped on roughly the same schedule. Guess that's what I get for trying to save a buck.

My problems ordering from APMEX: 1) I am charged sales tax on all orders shipped to me 2) no free shipping on smaller orders

Perth Bullion here in Australia is easily the fastest site that I have purchased from (including APMEX). If you live in Australia you should definitely try them.

Generally when I order from Provident it takes four days at the most. But then I'm only two states away, so that may play a part.

Jm Bullion was slow for me...I saved money but it took a couple weeks. Apmex is if I want the package in my hand within days! I've ordered from SDBullion which was fairly fast and also ModernCoin mart and got my packages in a timely manor. JMBullion was the cheapest but slowest!

OK is the US postal abbreviation for Oklahoma where Apmex is located. ML is located in the US.

PS, don't call OK the other Kansas as I think they would get very upset. OK & KS (Kansas) are in the same American college football conference.
