    My guess - most likely shorts covering as they expected better jobs (i.e. stocks to go up) which would drive down PMs. Looks like cat's out of the bag with the reverse and driving the buying from the panicking shorts... Once the dust settles, possible drift back down unless more news from EU, more likely debt ceiling.

    I would love to be wrong and the rocket has started :)
