Hi Panda Lovers Need some help with the true value of the 2007 25th Anniversary Panda Gold Proof Set Source: Panda America I've found one of these sets for AUD $3,750 Panda America has one listed for USD $5,500 My question is - what are they REALLY worth do you think?
3750 seems high. Based on Panda pricepedia, the range is [2270 (Korea), 3650(US)], and these are USD. 2270 is for OMP, and 3650 is for all PF70. An all PF69 set recently sold value is 3437(China). A recent sale was for 2300 in USA Ebay for OMP. So, I would say a current fair value for OMP would be in the ball park of 2500. Not more than that.
7 sets have sold on e bay USA in the last month, range 2750usd to 3350 usd all omp ,1 set went for 4400 someone must have really wanted it! there is one on e bay now for 2700 ,some are not complete ,as there is an inner wood box outer cardboard and coa , they are cool sets................. i bought one when gold was 1850 and i paid 2350 , i like the set , if you can buy a pf70 graded set ngc for 3600 grab it!!!! these coins graded pf70 sell single on ebay rarely less than 250.00 30,000 mintage
There were rumors (might be true I forgot) of dealers like PandaAmerica buying up these anniversary sets to speculate/corner market. For the OMP set I wouldn't pay over $2500, for PF70 then I'd consider up to $3.5k tops. I know there is a lot of supply out there, it's just being hoarded.

What item number is that? I think I need to add it into the site manually since it's missing... I see that the PF70 set sold for $3800 US and an OMP set sold for $3100 (best offer; list price $4100). Both in the last 10 days.
