Recently found an Ad on Gumtree with a set of 24 coins depicting different type of animals. Seller claimed that it is a Franklin set, which he inherited from his father. So, decided to take a gamble After some research, found out that it is actually WWF 1974-1976 sets. Please check some photos & info below. There was a wooden box, where previous owner stored them (maybe custom made) Does anybody know how much it will cost now? Any help would be appreciated!
I don't know their value but they certainly are a very nice proof silver set. Sounds like your "gamble" may have been an exceptionally good deal for you considering that many Franklin Mint items are undervalued and sold cheaply. .
@mmissinglink the seller wasn't into coins at all. so, couldn't resist... I made some research on eBay and it seems that some from this set are much more expensive than other. Don't have any clues why So, thought somebody here will give me an advice.
