Hi, Just wanted to check with those who are more attune to the Panda market if the following are good prices (from a buyer's perspective): - 2003 BU MS69 (AU$181 delivered) - 2004 BU MS69 (AU$120 delivered) - 2005 BU MS69 (AU$120 delivered) Thanks.
VERY good prices on the '03 (esp, I bought OMP for that) and '04. Panda prices right now are great buying in general, wish I had more bamboo for them.
Somehow the 2005 is also getting strong bidding on eBay (120 USD+ & delivery) so I might be wrong about it being 'fair', it might be a bargain. Just bought another 03 MS69 myself, not as good as his prices but still cheap.
I had the 03/04 Pandas "stolen" from me. Hesitated and did not try to buy until yesterday evening and when I looked again they were gone! Strangely the 05 was still there so it must have been someone reading this thread who bought them.
Ahhh ok. I might consider matching that price for the 2003 if you want, I have spare. Just need to check if it's below cost, if not it's yours for $181 delivered. Might take a while to arrive though since it just got posted out from US recently.
Thanks I'll take up the offer if you do sell it for $181. No problems with the wait as it's just the same if I had bought it on Ebay.
I think all are good prices. Think if you buy a good coin (omp or not) you need to pay more than 35 uss for grade it and have the luck the coin return 69 or 70. I pay in uss a few weeks ago the follow prices (are similar than yours). 2003 166 (try to win a few auctions to pay this price) 2004 130 2005 115 All delivered.
There are bargains almost everyday on eBay auctions, the only downside is the shipping, it costs us $20-40 to get it delivered to Au.
Yeah, sending raw coins require time and effort that I can't be bothered with. Those prices that you paid are in USD? That's true, lots of bargains currently but as you said postage is a killer in most cases but I'm just trying to play my small part in draining America out of Pandas.
Yep...shipping is bloody expensive and kills many bargains. Just today I ended up bidding on something I had done zero research on (MCC) just to save shipping. No point buying a $100 coin and paying $38 shipping I thought... ended up buying ~$950 total of MCC... -_- Not the wisest move but having consulted the master 25Grizzlies it doesn't seem like it was the worst buy I could've done.
HAhaha... I like talking to Master Grizzlies! Always very encouraging and inspirational! He got me into the Brass Pandas, and also into the Bronze Age Archaeological Finds! Truly a master of the Modern Chinese Coins scene.
Yes. Sometimes if the seller dont use the registered usps post (18 uss). I say to him to buy one or two more coins to absorb the shipping costs for the express usps (38) My pay prices are in uss.
