    Hi Stackers

I will be putting this 1939 Florin on Ebay in the coming weeks.

If anyone has the time I would like their opinion on it's grading. I am no expert but have a degree of confidence with my own ability, and am always open to suggestions.

Unfortunately the photos dont show the high level of allover lustre, the fields are mostly clear with only a few contact marks and the rims are clean.

My impression is that it would grade better than VF but not EF, there is flattening of the orb at the top of the crown (reverse) and loss of hair detail above and forward of the ear on the obverse.

    Your thoughts would be appreciated.

ALSO - I recently acquired 8 X 1991 perth 1 ounce $5 kooks, unsealed but in presentation cases as part of a job lot. Are these bullion coins only or do they carry a premium - Perth mint not really my thing!

    Regards Edmond

Hi Ed D , cant comment on the kooks not my thing either. Thats a nice 39 florin, looks like an honest coin and would agree with your grading gVF, and a nice one at that. As you say a lot is lost in a photo. Good luck with the sale.
