Hello Stackers, I decided to have a look at the ratios of precious metals on a Large Stack- Fundamentally, there are 5 different precious metals that are stacked. Level 1 Silver Gold Platinum Palladium Rhodium Level 2 Each one of those is further broken down into subcategories i.e case of gold - - Gold - - - coins - bars - scrap - metal detector - CPU Level 3 Each one of the above subcategories has its own sub-subcategories i.e case of coins - - coins - - - Perth Mint - Sovereigns - Foreign Commemorative - Foreign Circulating . . . Anyways, we seem to have on offer a Large stack which will below be broken down into the ratios by weight and value. 5kg various Gold 42ozPalladium 24ozplatinum 330k plus For Sale still Gold 5kg = 5 x 32.15 oz = 160.75 oz of gold Palladium 42 oz Platinum 24 oz So ratios by weight Au Pd Pt 0.7089 0.1852 0.1058 Ratios by value ( at spot ) Au Pd Pt 0.7744 0.0934 0.1321 Nice Mix - I hope I havent crossed any lines above - just doing some analysis of a Large Stack. We all have our own ratios of Silver to gold to platinum to palladium, and always nice and educational to see how someone else did theirs. t79
Thucy....You do like to crunch the numbers! Where does your stack sit with this ratio? I Have (roughly) 90% (by weight)silver and the rest in gold. Some copper/bronze . Nada Palladium and Platinum
i started out at 100% silver, then moved into maybe 10%gold, then, when the opportunity presented itself (at spot or just below) i went into about 1% palladium and platinum. With recent 'global developments' i am now probably 25-30% gold. would probably move into 40% gold if i had the chance. Anyone wanna swap some premium silver for gold? PM me serious q.
