It's not mine Just trying to figure out how & what happened to it And a value if anyone knows polymer notes
Quite interesting! I have heard that when you put notes in your pocket with other items and chuck the whole lot into a washing machine you can sometimes get transfer onto the note. It could be post mint damage in which case it is just a curiosity. But if it was done in the printing factory then it might be worth holding on to. Beyond that, can't help, do you mind if I post the picture on one of the facebook pages?
Well, early responses seem to think you are a bank robber and that is the result of a dye pack going off! Seems reasonable.
That's why I left all those groups , because all the so called "experts" Would a die pack affect only certain areas of the print ? I used to be a screen printer 30 years ago
Forgot to add Showed it to the note expect at Max Stern's. His wasn't the polymer person but took photos and will ask the experts at the next international bank note meeting. So definitely not a die bomb. And the so called FB experts can shove their knowledge where the sun don't shine
Looks a bit like a ink dilution or solvent error. I've seen a few and they are notoriously hard to authenticate.
