Why it is that the AUD price of both gold and silver, in the graphs at the top of the page today, are almost identical.

I have noticed this a few times, and I am confused.

Price of G/S and USD are inverse at times.

Price of USD and AUD are inverse at times.

Therefore movement of G/S and AUD are the same at times.

Thanks guys, no idea about algorithms.

I presume they act i unison somehow and buy and sell as required to achieve a desired result.
