I have not done my research yet but I want to know how this will effect the supply of platinum. Platinum is such a small market already this could be great news for phys platinum owners and investors in (other) platinum stocks. My appologies to Platinum Australia investors. http://www.theaustralian.com.au/bus...he+Australian+|+Business+|+Mining+and+energy) PA production of 90k ounces
I own shares in Platina Resources (PGM) and they have been royally beat-up. The fall in palladium and platinum has made those portions of their deposit unecconomical (greenland only) but they still have their Aussie Scandium/Platinum deposit and the gold zone of their Greenland Deposit. They also have tenaments in Columbia which is a good get, because no modern mining has been permitted there for a long time. Platinum has inductrial uses but was also a monetary metal for centuries in Russia and surrounding provinces. Gold historically drags with it silver and platinum as well - so it is a way of diversifying a PM portfolio.
good grief, I thought this was THE massive deposit. Never brought them, as it seemed to me that they would never become a mine, but just drill endlessly.
No id ont think so, their Australian resource is having a feasability study done on it. It is a large deposit in Greenland.
