Well, it's always hard to know how to take any specific thing that someone posts. You seem to be implying that I took you wrong and maybe I did, although there really wasn't any way for me to know. Likewise you have taken me at least somewhat wrong.

You have only been here since 2014. For the longest time on this forum Gold and Silver has been regarded as a no-brainer. Just close your eyes and buy. That to me is the "stacker" ideology and that is what I and others rail against. Sorry if you got in the way. And no, being on this site and having Silver Stacker under my name does not make me part of some group called "stackers". I don't even know what it means tbh. I am here to get information and analysis and also provide some of my own in return and maybe make some friends. I have no deep commitment to PM's as an investment. Nor should anyone imo. People should evaluate the situation as it comes to them. That's what I was trying to say.

Being a Divine, it's appropriate that I pontificate.

As I sell iPhones, it is always appropriate to buy a new one. As to you Luna, I sold you your last one, so I believe it's a necessity that you get a new one.

As to not buying PMs for two years, 80% of my stack has been purchased in the last 15 months, as a result the majority of my stack was purchased sub $24 spot. As we are looking at sub $20 for the immediate future, I intend to increase my stack by 50%. This should bring my average ounce to sub $21. This corresponds to fifties under $8 each.

In the meantime I intend to purchase an iPhone 6+ next week, take a chick to dinner, meet the Stackeratti on Wednesday for drinks, go to Sculpture by the Sea one afternoon, meet a chum for brunch on Thursday, corrupt a new lady friend, and wish my wife a happy 33rd wedding anniversary next Saturday.

I pissed it up hard for about six years from 17-23, trust me, it isn't all it is cracked up to be.
Pretty much a teetotaler now days and that wasn't even 10 years ago.
Awww, at least the liver is the only organ that can rejuvenate.

Now I feel bad about my last post in the "Did anyone add to their stack over the weekend" thread. Fortunately my new acquisition will last a fair while.

I am happy to stick with silver!
Haven't a clue what you invest your money in, however I am more than happy to put a few ounces of silver on the table against whatever you think is a good investment
Nominate an investment that you think is better than silver and on the 3rd May 2015 (6 months) we can compare results.
If the investment you nominate gives a better return then I will send you the silver. Expect you to do likewise if silver performs better.
The spot price for silver at this very moment is $18.19 an oz
    Cheers

Property is still a worthwhile investment in this country.

If you are about to say proberty bubble .. blah blah blah well.... they have been saying its in a bubble for 30 + years and they still have not gotten it correct like sammy and his $36 by easter prediction. The can can be kicked down the road for a very very very very long time.

At least it is an income producing assets that people NEED unlike silver.

You obviously haven't owned an investment property; I have!
For at least the first 10 years, expect to provide subsidized housing for your tenants because you will be covering the shortfall between income and expenses.
After 20 years of ownership, my current tenants are finally shouting me a weekly steak dinner after all overheads are taken out of income.
If I sell it, I will probably make 100% net profit after capital gain taxes, agent fees. et. al.
I am sure silver and gold could do much better with a lot less hassles.
Does anyone seriously think it will take 20 years for the silver spot to double? :p

Maybe in your part of the world that might be the case but there are properties around here that with a 20% deposit ( to avoid LMI ) can be cash positive straight away.
