I feel for you...... And your house and your super, your kids, part of your soul as well I bet........
Nyar.. I only just moved up here this year. But I'll be giving Daydream, Hamilton, South Molle etc a flogging from Airlie once my jetski gets registered. I tell you what, but... you'd hardly recognise the place since 2000. It's really grown.
muak. fried spam, barbie spam, frozen spam, blacken spam, burned spam, uncooked spam, all the spam....chilli spam, butter spam how to eat so much, is it to feed the hungry people? the cheaper maggie noddle will serve them better.
Yeah its better to be on that kitco thread if you want to see photos of stacks to help you start off. I know that thread helped me get started since it showed me what others are buying.
Good start mate, if one day silver go's 1to1 with gold like some people believe, think what it could be worth ?
True hope one day it rises but I'm planning of holding onto all the silver I buy till I retire seeing as I'm 23 and currently adding 2 ounces a week on average should be a nice retirement fund .
If you stick to your plan you could end up being the guy with the biggest smile. I'm in my late 50's and started stacking in March this year because silver was going to be $100 an ounce by today. I've been rapidly "unstacking" ever since! But if I had the awareness of metals that you have at 23 and the self discipline to proceed as I hope you do we'd both be smiling in 2050 I'd reckon. I'll be long gone by 2050. But wouldn't it be great if this forum was still here and you and all members from this era were here to reflect!!
If anyone can help I would like to post a pick of my stack so far. I haven't worked out how to post pics direct so would someone be kind enough to accept an email from me and post it on my behalf? Cheers Rick
Thanks for your input I agree my first ever metal purchase was the 1 ounce gold bar you see in the pic I payed 1000 for it bit silly but I did believe it would rise. Like you say if I add to my stack weekly which I am I added a 1 ounce Philharmonic Coin this week and 2 ounces of .500 and .925 pre 1920 British coins which I won on the bay for cheap plus the coins in my other post "someone's been hiding silver". It's funny how my close friends and family don't get why I do it they can't see it as investment and a good protection from inflation. I hope to keep going for many years and I hope this forum stays up and running happy Christmas to all the stackers on here.
