Acquired this today and my Google-Fu has failed me completely. Anyone have any info on it?
I believe it is a commemorative round issued in 1989 for the 90th anniversary of the opening of the perth branch of the royal mint. They where also made in the same design in silver and came in a box with COA
Made in Silver as well
very very cool medal IMO ....pretty sure the silver ones had a mintage of 500 so the gold will likely be the same or less
I have a few of the silver ones with cert, would love a gold one but they are pretty rare.
Do you have any idea how many gold ones they made?
Not sure to be honest mate but I did hear a while back it’s probably under 250 and who knows now how many are left that hasn’t been melted down. Found a different link but can only find the silver one.
