Anyone know what gives with the "P" being at that strange angle compared to the rest of the letters?

Not that different? the croc is frosted silver the FW is shiny silver? I had better get my ones graded as it looks like PM gave me proofs by mistake!

    Nice one silverpete :)

Look at the letters around the coins. Artist impression shows frosted coin with shiny letters as the croc is, the two real pics shows letters not shiny but stamped into a shiny blank.

OK we all know the croc is a frosted coin with parts of croc itself and lettering shiny almost mirror finish, are you trying to say your FWS is similar? because your pics seem to be indicating they are in some way.

My croc coins are the same as everyone elses, frosted coin with shiny/mirror croc and lettering. My FWS as show in my (although amateurish) pics is a shiny not quite mirror coin with no frosting whatsoever!

Perhaps i do have a different version to you and the reason it was so hard for me to capture a picture of my coins?

Might end up to be a flippers nightmare decision to buy big on a true "bullion quality" PM product that is nothing like the croc quality/appeal? :)

For collecting or to keep as part of a collection its fine but with a million mintage these coins are not going to become sort after any time soon and in my opinion deserve no more premium than any generic round or 1oz bar.

Are you sure this Funnel-Web Spider isn't a fake?

I do not feel the Perth Mint would have made such an elementary mistake when they minted it.

I should probably request my refund of $233.95..

I was currently away on leave, traveling through time and can confirm the above to be relevant to this thread.

The coins are definatley different BUT compared to other shiny finish coins I think its fair to call the FWS fostyish.

Will take a photo of croc, FWS and ASE on Monday so we get a real comparison. (Day off today so naturally the first order of business is to check the forum.  )
