+100 with HF Will definitely welcome standard roo BU into the family. I nowadays prefer PM coins rather than others for my personal collection. I wonder if 1oz roo will have limited mintage. [LD]
Guys as mentioned in post 17 it would seem there's a good chance (Big maybe) that Perth may issue silver 2014 and 2015 Kangaroo bullion coins. Not all coins in the Currency Determination are minted...that's Perth's decision so the only thing we can go on is to look at what coins "may" be struck and hope we see a new addition to the bullion program. Anyway...if you click on the link below, you'll get a bit more of an idea of what's in the pipe-line. http://www.comlaw.gov.au/Details/F2013L01583/Explanatory Statement/Text
I think you are on the money BB. Perth's one Tonne coin which was taken to Berlin for the Coin Fair is perhaps the 99% for sure clue that we will see a new addition to the Ag bullion program. And...as you have pointed out re the static design the coin could be the same as the 1oz gold 2014 bullion coin. Perhaps a reverse / mirror image of the 1oz gold bullion coin??? H
Proposed 1oz Ag Kangaroo - New security features. Guys...not sure if you missed this snippit of info in the last Currency Determination but it maybe of interest. 2015 Australian Kangaroo Silver Bullion Coin The design on the 2015 Australian Kangaroo (1oz) silver bullion coin, consists of a pattern of shapes representing stylised sunrays forming a circle around a representation of a kangaroo. The coin includes the following inscriptions 'AUSTRALIAN KANGAROO' and '2015 1oz 999 SILVER' and edge lettering consisting of the word 'AUSTRALIA' repeated three times. This coin also has an additional security feature on the coin of micro lettering. http://www.comlaw.gov.au/Details/F2013L02142/Explanatory Statement/Text Perhaps if Perth do release a 2014 Ag Bullion Kangaroo, it may too, include the additional security features featured for the proposed 2015 coin. H Edit Canada already have additional security features on their 2014 Maple. (Thankyou "R6") Read More http://www.coinnews.net/2013/12/06/2014-silver-maple-leaf-bullion-coins/
